Hawkies Rest Dog Park: A fully fenced off leash dog area located under the shade of a large gum tree to the east of our park. A watering station, waste bags and a seated area for you to relax while your dog plays are some features included. This park is a convenient option for guests wanting to let their dogs stretch their legs without leaving the park.
Free Dog Wash: This facility is designed to help keep your dog clean after beach visits or outdoor adventures. Located near the BBQ area and amenities block within the camping area; our fully enclosed and undercover dog wash is equipped with both hot and cold water to keep your pup comfortable. BYO Dog shampoo/conditioner.


Pet-Friendly Beaches
Harrington Beach: This expansive beach allows dogs off-leash. It’s perfect for a game of fetch or a refreshing swim with a bin and spare doggie bags available at the carpark area.
Crowdy Head Beach: Similarly, this beach permits off-leash dogs outside the patrolled zones and about halfway up the beach, offering ample space for your dog to run and play.
Dog-friendly parks and trails
Harrington Waters Riverwalk: A scenic 3km path along the Manning River, ideal for leashed walks with your dog. The trail offers beautiful views and a peaceful environment. Starting at the Harrington Foreshore Carpark and ending at the Shoreline Tavern, it is a perfect walk to do just before having lunch or dinner at the Shoreline Tavern with your pup!
Harrington Foreshore Reserve: This park provides open spaces for dogs to explore on leash.
Harrington Breakwall: The Breakwall path offers amazing views that you can experience together with your furry friend on a leash. It is around a 1km return with a bench just past the halfway point for you to relax and take in the sights.
Harrington Dog Park: Located at 3 Dolphin Park Cresent, this off leash dog park is fully fenced and double gated, has agility obstacles and a water fountain. It is a fantastic place for you and your furry friend to exercise and socialise.

Harrington Beach State Park
Location: Crowdy Street, Harrington
Facilities: Picnic tables, BBQs, and parking.
Highlights: Enjoy a family-friendly swimming lagoon and scenic views. The park is part of the Harrington Beach State Park, stretching from Harrington to Crowdy Head.
Pilot Hill Reserve
Location: Pilot Hill Harrington
Facilities: Grassed areas suitable for picnics and some picnic tables.
Highlights: Offers spectacular views of the Manning River back channel and break wall. This area is popular for weddings and provides a peaceful setting for a picnic.
Harrington Lagoon
Location: Harrington, NSW
Facilities: BBQ’s, Picnic tables, toilets and outdoor showers.
Highlights: A family-friendly spot with shallow waters making it an ideal swimming spot for younger kids. The lagoon is also tidal so you get the relaxation of the sea without the big waves.

Harrington Bakehouse & Café: Dogs are welcome to join their owner for breakfast or lunch sitting at the outside tables. With your traditional meat pies, bacon and egg rolls and sweet treats available as well as delicious fresh sandwiches and hot meals this location has got you covered for nearly every craving!
Seaview Retro Diner: Enjoy breakfast or lunch overlooking the Harrington Breakwall with your dog in tow. The Seaview offers outdoor seating for their customers with a furry friend complete with a whimsical retro dining experience including neon signs, vintage décor, and an Americana rock and roll spirit.
Beach Street Dispensary: Open for breakfast or an early lunch, Beach Street Dispensary is located across from the Breakwall again displaying amazing views.
