Deposit Policy

A deposit is required for all bookings, a booking will not be confirmed until this is received. We reserve the right to cancel any booking made where a deposit has not been received

Direct Phone Bookings
Off-Peak:         30% Deposit is required at time of booking.
2020 Peak:      50% Deposit is required at time of booking.  Payment in full by the 31st October 2020

Direct Website Bookings
100% deposit is required

Cancellation Policy

Unless a specific tariff states otherwise, standard cancellation terms are as below;

2020 Peak Season – Cabins & Sites
– More than 30 days notice: Cancellation fee of $20 administration fee and 1 night’s tariff
– Less than 30 days notice: Cancellation fee of the total price of reservation – No refund of monies 

Off Peak Seasons – Cabins
– More than 30 days notice: Full refund
– Less than 30 days notice: Cancellation fee includes $20 administration fee
– Less than 20 days notice: Cancellation fee of $20 administration fee and 1 night’s tariff
– Less than 10 days – No refund of monies

Off Peak Seasons – Sites
– More than 30 days notice: Full refund
– Less than 30 days notice: Cancellation fee includes $20 administration fee
– Less than 10 days notice: Cancellation fee includes $20 administration fee and 1 night’s tariff

Failure to Notify
If you do not notify us of your cancellation or you do not arrive by 9am the day after your scheduled reservation, your booking will be cancelled without the refund of any monies paid

Early Departures
No refund will be paid if you decide to cut your reservation or holiday short

Terms & Conditions

  1. Final full payment for your stay, unless tariff terms dictate otherwise, is required on check-in
  2. A credit card pre-authorisation is required at time of check-in for all cabin stays
  3. Guests checking-in outside reception hours are requested to contact us with an estimated time of arrival and arrange final full payment and a credit card pre-authorisation if applicable to their booking
  4. Early check-ins / late checkouts are subject to availability within 24 hours of arrival/departure and may incur an extra charge
  5. We are a dog-friendly park – all bookings must advise whether a dog will be accompanying them before arrival at our property
  6. Additional costs – we reserve the right to debit your credit card or request payment in full for any outstanding charges that apply to your booking. This includes extra cleaning, excess rubbish removal, additional unpaid guests, extended stays, late checkouts, lost keys, item theft or repairs and damage to the property
  7. Guests are given a full copy of the park rules at check-in, all guests and their visitors are required to make themselves familiar with these.

Emergencies / Catastrophic Events Cancellation Policy

In the event of an emergency or catastrophic event such as a flood, fire, earthquake, storm, act of terrorism etc. which prevents the guest from checking in and honouring their booking due to being unable to access the accommodation, or where authorities deem the park unsafe to enter, deposits or prepayments will be refunded with the following options;

  1. Refund of deposit or prepayment less $20.00 administration fee; OR
  2. Full credit or prepayment to a future deferred booking. Deferral dates must be provided at the time of the request. Any deferred dates must be within 12 months of the original booking date. Deferring can only occur once with any booking and if the second booking cannot be kept then cancellation fees will apply in accordance with our cancellation and refunds policy.

If an emergency or catastrophic event occurs in the park after check in and during the guest’s stay that subsequently interferes with the customer being able to occupy or access the accommodation, then deposits or prepayments will be refunded with the following options;

  1. A refund will be given for the nights paid and not stayed less $20.00 administration fee; OR
  2. Full credit of the unused nights to a future booking. Deferral dates must be provided at the time of the request. Any deferred dates must be within 12 months of the original booking date. Deferring can only occur once with any booking and if the second booking cannot be kept then cancellation fees will apply in accordance with our cancellation and refunds policy.

 

COVID19 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

We are now able to accept all bookings arriving June 1st or later. Any bookings made for an arrival date before this time will be subject to the conditions as per the Current Public Health Order in place.  

 

In order to deal with the public health risk of COVID-19 and its possible consequences, the Public Health Order directs that Caravan Parks must not be open to members of the public, except as provided in the Order.

The categories of people we can remain open for are set out below;

  • Those who have no place of permanent residence or their primary place of residence is temporarily unavailable
  • Those who are working in the local area
  • Overnight travellers
  • Visitors to permanent residents or visitors to those currently staying in the park

All bookings and future arrivals from now until the 1st of June will be required to complete a statutory declaration before arrival.

If you have an existing booking or are considering booking with us in the coming months, you have the confidence of knowing that we have adopted the BIG4 PARKS FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION POLICY.

This means that if you book directly with us or through BIG4.com.au, for a stay between now and the end of August, you are able to change your booking without fee, up to 72 hours prior to arrival. You will have the option of changing the date or choosing to take credit for a future booking. That credit is valid for 12 months. If your change is within a time frame that our standard policy would allow even more flexible terms, that would apply.

As per the ACCC, if travel is cancelled due to a Government restriction, then the guest will be eligible for a refund.

We are closely following all advice received from the Australian medical authorities regarding precautions that are needed to minimise risks concerned with COVID-19. If you are a past guest, you will know we already have a high standard of cleanliness. Our housekeeping team have introduced further steps to ensure the rooms and shared facilities in our park are cleaned and disinfected to the highest standard. All staff, including front office, have been trained in the recommended health and safety precautions to minimise any risks.

In accordance with the public health order, and to ensure guests abide by social distancing guidelines, some common areas within the park are closed. Our pool and games room remain closed during this time. Our Camp Kitchen, BBQ area, Laundries and Office are open but are restricted to maximum occupant limits, and all occupants must remain 1.5m apart. Hand hygiene stations are available in all these areas. 
Our amenities block within the powered site area is also open, however, we strongly recommend all guests use the facilities within their own van when possible.

As we are all aware, the situation and restrictions have been changing frequently. We will continue to update our current terms and conditions as per the latest Government directives. We look forward to the day we can return to normal operation and welcome all guests back in the park.

 

CABINS

Our modern cabins are Family & Pet-friendly! From budget options to Executive Villas, we have your accommodation covered. Sleeping arrangements for 2 - 6 people, whether it's for an overnight stay or a holiday break!

FACILITIES

Relax by the Pool or meet new friends at the undercover Camp Kitchen. Cook up a feast at the BBQ area in the pizza oven and eat dinner under the stars. All sites have access to our modern individual ensuite amenities block with key card access.

SITES

Set up your caravan, RV, camper or tent on one of our large grassy sites. Each site has a concrete slab, power head, fresh water tap and grey water disposal. Choose from powered, unpowered or ensuite* sites. Drive through sites also available.
