Deposit Policy

A deposit is required for all bookings, a booking will not be confirmed until this is received. We reserve the right to cancel any booking made where a deposit has not been received

Direct Phone Bookings
Off-Peak:
         30% Deposit is required at time of booking.
Peak:      50% Deposit is required at time of booking.

Direct Website Bookings
100% deposit is required

 

Cancellation Policy

Unless a specific tariff states otherwise, standard cancellation terms are as below;

Peak Season – Cabins & Sites
– More than 30 days notice: Cancellation fee of $20 administration fee and 1 night’s tariff
– Less than 30 days notice: Cancellation fee of the total price of reservation – No refund of monies

Off Peak Seasons – Cabins
– More than 30 days notice: Full refund
– Less than 30 days notice: Cancellation fee includes $20 administration fee
– Less than 20 days notice: Cancellation fee of $20 administration fee and 1 night’s tariff
– Less than 10 days – No refund of monies

Off Peak Seasons – Sites
– More than 30 days notice: Full refund
– Less than 30 days notice: Cancellation fee includes $20 administration fee
– Less than 10 days notice: Cancellation fee includes $20 administration fee and 1 night’s tariff

Failure to Notify
If you do not notify us of your cancellation or you do not arrive by 9am the day after your scheduled reservation, your booking will be cancelled without the refund of any monies paid

Early Departures
No refund will be paid if you decide to cut your reservation or holiday short

Terms & Conditions

  1. Final full payment for your stay, unless tariff terms dictate otherwise, is required on check-in
  2. A credit card pre-authorisation is required at time of check-in for all cabin stays
  3. Guests checking-in outside reception hours are requested to contact us with an estimated time of arrival and arrange final full payment and a credit card pre-authorisation if applicable to their booking
  4. Early check-ins / late checkouts are subject to availability within 24 hours of arrival/departure and may incur an extra charge
  5. We are a dog-friendly park – all bookings must advise whether a dog will be accompanying them before arrival at our property
  6. Additional costs – we reserve the right to debit your credit card or request payment in full for any outstanding charges that apply to your booking. This includes extra cleaning, excess rubbish removal, additional unpaid guests, extended stays, late checkouts, lost keys, item theft or repairs and damage to the property
  7. Guests are given a full copy of the park rules at check-in, all guests and their visitors are required to make themselves familiar with these and follow instructions from park staff regarding the rules.
  8. All those entering BIG4 Colonial Holiday Park must comply with government and Public Health Order directions while on the premises.

Sale, Promotional and Special Offer Tariffs

From time to time, accommodation or site bookings made on a sale or discounted tariff may offer special conditions that differ from standard tariffs. Bookings made under these sale tariffs from BIG4 Colonial Holiday Park are not valid in conjunction with any other offer.  All sale offers are subject to availability and specific conditions apply.

 

Emergencies / Catastrophic Events Cancellation Policy

In the event of an emergency or catastrophic event such as a flood, fire, earthquake, storm, act of terrorism etc. which prevents the guest from checking in and honouring their booking due to being unable to access the accommodation, or where authorities deem the park unsafe to enter, deposits or prepayments will be refunded with the following options;

  1. Refund of deposit or prepayment less $20.00 administration fee; OR
  2. Full credit or prepayment to a future deferred booking. Deferral dates must be provided at the time of the request. Any deferred dates must be within 12 months of the original booking date. Deferring can only occur once with any booking and if the second booking cannot be kept then cancellation fees will apply in accordance with our cancellation and refunds policy.

If an emergency or catastrophic event occurs in the park after check in and during the guest’s stay that subsequently interferes with the customer being able to occupy or access the accommodation, then deposits or prepayments will be refunded with the following options;

  1. A refund will be given for the nights paid and not stayed less $20.00 administration fee; OR
  2. Full credit of the unused nights to a future booking. Deferral dates must be provided at the time of the request. Any deferred dates must be within 12 months of the original booking date. Deferring can only occur once with any booking and if the second booking cannot be kept then cancellation fees will apply in accordance with our cancellation and refunds policy.

 

COVID-19 Flexi Booking Policy:

Withstanding rights under consumer law, guests will have the option to select a new date for their existing booking or accept a credit valid for up to 12 months should any of the below criteria impact their planned stay:

  • You or an immediate family member becomes sick with COVID – 19
  • You are forced into self-isolation
  • You are awaiting the results of a COVID – 19 test or
  • A State Government or Commonwealth Government directive is issued and means you are no longer able to travel to or from your destination.

Any difference in booking value will need to be paid as per our usual booking terms and conditions. To request either a change to booking dates or to receive a credit for a future booking in relation to the COVID-19 Flexible Cancellation Policy the customer will need us directly.

To utilise this policy a guest must:

  • Have made their booking direct or via BIG4.com.au, and
  • Where requested, provide proof to the park where the booking is held of COVID-19 impact as listed above.

 

Any cancellation which is deemed not applicable to the Flexible Cancelation Policy will need to comply with the usual terms and conditions outlined below.

 

 

The policies, terms and conditions above apply to bookings made direct with BIG4 Colonial Holiday Park or via BIG4.com.au. If you have booked via a third party, you must refer to that party for booking terms and conditions applicable to your booking.

Let the kids and adults test their skills on an array of machines in the games room or chill out in the common room.

SITES

Set up your caravan, RV, camper or tent on one of our large grassy sites. Each site has a concrete slab, powerhead, fresh water tap and grey water disposal. Choose from powered slab sites or unpowered slab sites with the option of private ensuite hire. Drive-through sites are also available. All sites are pet friendly.
