Checking in

Checking in can be done after 1pm. If any earlier please contact the office to see if your cabin/site is available.

How do I check-in?

Come into the office and let us know your booking reference or surname so we can find your booking. You will need to complete the guest registration form and to settle any outstanding monies owed on your accommodation (if not already paid in full). Please be aware all cabin bookings will require a credit card authorisation even if paying by cash. You will then be given your key access card to the boom gate and map and keys to your cabin. 

Checking out

Please do so by 10am. We do allow late checkout, however, there will be a fee. Please organise with office staff first.

How do I check out?

Stop by the office and drop back your key access card and keys for your cabin as you leave. You will also settle any outstanding money owed on your accommodation.

If you are wanting to leave early before the reception is open, you can drop back your keys into the box outside the office building.

Arriving outside of reception hours

Please ring ahead and notify the office of your estimated arrival time. They will arrange other methods for you to enter the park and get to your accommodation.

Parking when checking in

As you enter our driveway please park on the left-hand side and follow the path to the office.

Boom gate access

When checking in, a boom gate access card will be given to you for the duration of your stay.

Arriving on a public holiday

The office staff will make arrangements for your entry before you arrive. Our office is only closed on Christmas Day. All other public holidays the office is open from 10am – 4pm.

Group Bookings

All parties of a group booking must check-in so they can be given their own key access card.

GENERAL FAQ

Are you on the Beach?

No, we are not on the beach. We are located on the right hand side of Harrington Road as you drive into Harrington, just after you hit the 60km/hr speed limit.

We are surrounded by Crowdy Bay National Park making a beautiful backdrop for your holiday.

Courtesy buses can pick up and drop off to the local pubs and clubs.

What is the population of Harrington?

Over 3000 people reside in Harrington with a mix of retirees and young working families.

What other towns are nearby?

Taree, Tuncurry, Forster, Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Wingham and many other hidden gems across the Manning Valley. To learn more about out area please see our ‘Things to do’ page.

Do you have ice available?

No we don’t. Ice can be purchased from the IGA and Liquor stores.

What days is the office closed?

The office is closed on Christmas Day. If arriving on that day, office staff will contact you prior to your arrival to make arrangements for your check in.

What are the reception hours?

Our reception is open 7 days a week. From Monday to Saturday 9am – 5pm. Sunday and Public Holidays 10am – 4pm. If arriving outside of reception hours, please ring ahead and let us know so we can cater for you. Thank you.

Do you have wifi available?

Yes, we have wifi for park guests staying in cabins or on sites.

Can we have visitors while staying in a cabin or on a site?

Yes, you may have visitors if you are staying in a cabin or on a site.

Your visitors must sign into the office when they arrive and leave (in case of an emergency evacuation). You are expected to collect your visitors from reception following their registration. Your visitors are not to be left to wander around the park looking for you.

Visitors must pay a day fee if they intend to use any of the park’s facilities (pool, BBQ’s etc). The day fee will be determined by the office staff in consultation with your visitors when your visitors register at the office.

Unregistered visitors will be asked to leave the park immediately as will visitors who haven’t paid the day fee and are found to be using the park’s amenities.

Once registered visitors must park in the designated visitor parking found at the entry gate or near the amenities block.

Visitors cannot stay the night.

Are there any extra costs?

Extra costs will be incurred to cover any loss or damage to the property and its contents during occupancy of the property, whether done by the guest, their pet, or their visitors. This includes charges for any unregistered extra occupants.
All cabins are non-smoking and non-vaping. Failure to observe the no smoking rule will result in being charged a cleaning fee of $250.00.

Is there a park café or kiosk?

Unfortunately, we do not have a café or kiosk within the park. We do however have snack and drink vending machines in the camp kitchen available 24 hours and Peter’s ice creams are available from the office during opening hours.

KIDS

Can I hire a port a cot?

Yes, port a cots are available to hire. They are a soft mesh style cot and come with linen. Available for toddlers up to 14kg. There is a one time hire fee. When booking your stay add a port a cot to your booking in step 3 online or just let our office staff know.

Can I hire a high chair?

Yes, high chairs are available free of charge. Suitable for children up to 15kg.  When booking your stay add a high chair to your booking in step 3 online or just let our office staff know.

Can my kids ride bikes and scooters around the park?

Yes, push bikes, scooters and balance bikes are allowed to be used on the park roads during daylight hours, with a helmet.
Please note that the park roads are public roads and it is your responsibility to make sure your kids are car smart.

Can my kids use their skateboards or rollerblades around the park?

No, the roads throughout the park are public roads, therefore it is too dangerous to allow kids on skateboards or rollerblades.

For use of skateboards and rollerblades there is a great skate park in Harrington near the break wall.

Do you have Kids Club?

No, we don’t have kids club.

Do you have a jumping pillow or playground for kids?

No, we don’t. However if your kids would like to play at a playground, Harrington has three playgrounds. One located near the boat ramp, one opposite the petrol station. The other located near the breakwall.

Do you have a pool?

Yes, we have a pool, spa and wading pool, perfect for the whole family to enjoy.

The main pool varies in depth and has a large seating area and a step around the edge with a shade sail covering half of the pool. The main pool is heated during the colder months.

The wading pool is a great spot for toddlers and small children, being only 0.4m in depth, it features two spraying water features to keep them entertained! The wading pool is heated during the colder months.

The pool is heated from September through to April and features seating all around and water jets for a relaxing time.

We have comfy pool furniture for sun bathing as well.

Are your cabins child friendly?

Yes, each cabin has a fully enclosed verandah with gate perfect for allowing kids outside. They also have a locking screen door and locking sliding door. However adult supervision at all times is recommended.

 

CABINS

Do your cabins have a kitchen?

Yes, all of our cabins have kitchen facilities, including gas cooktop, convection microwave, fridge, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Our Executive two-bedroom cabins also have an oven and dishwasher.

Do your cabins have a bathroom/ensuite?

Yes, each cabin has an ensuite with shower, basin and toilet.

Do your cabins have air conditioning & heating?

Yes, each cabin is fitted with reverse cycle air conditioning. Larger cabins have ceiling fans in bedrooms.

Is Linen provided?

Yes, all beds have sheets, quilts, blankets and pillows.

Are towels provided?

Yes, bath towels, hand towel and bath mat are provided. Please bring your own pool & beach towels.

Do your cabins have BBQs?

The Executive two-bedroom cabins each have a BBQ for use. Other cabins can use the BBQs at the camp kitchen.

Do your cabins have outdoor furniture?

Each cabin has an outdoor dining area.

How close are the camp kitchen and pool area?

Extremely close! The camp kitchen and BBQ area are within 10m-20m and the pool is within 20m-30m.

Is there room to park a boat?

Each cabin has a cement slab out the front or side and most cabins will have plenty of room for your boat and car. Please notify the office before bringing your boat to ensure there is enough room at your chosen cabin.  

Are the cabins secure?

Yes, each cabin has a key locking screen door and key locking glass sliding door.

When are your cabins cleaned?

Each cabin is thoroughly cleaned after each stay. All linen is replaced. Bathroom, kitchen and floors disinfected.

Each cabin is also given a spring clean 4 times a year where the outside is washed down and the interior is cleaned from top to bottom including ceiling, walls and floors.

SITES

Do your sites have concrete slabs?

Yes, all of our sites have concrete slabs, fresh water taps and grey water disposal.

What is the maximum size caravan or bus you can fit?

From 4m up to 20m long (subject to availability).

Do you have drive-through sites?

Yes we have 4 large drive through powered sites available.

 

Are we near the amenities block, kitchen and pool?

All sites surround the individual ensuite amenities block, laundry and BBQ area. They are a short walk to the pool and camp kitchen.

Where do I park my vehicle?

All vehicles need to be parked within the boundary of your site. If you are having visitors there is allocated visitor parking at the entrance of the park or near the amenities block.

Can I have a campfire or potbelly stove?

No, we don’t allow open fires or pot belly stoves on sites. We do have a large purpose-built Firepit area available for use. Bring your own wood or buy some from us. If you light the firepit it is your responsibility to use it safely.

What does the BBQ area have in it?

The BBQ area has 4 picnic tables located under the trees, two large BBQ’s, a gas-fired pizza oven, fridge, sink, kettle, toaster, and microwave. All free to use.

What does the camp kitchen have in it?

The camp kitchen has two gas ovens and cooktops, two microwaves, a dishwasher, fridge, sink, kettle and a toaster. It also houses a snack vending machine and a drinks vending machine, and a couple of bar style seating tables. There is also two BBQ on the covered verandah area with a selection of seating types.

Where is the Laundry?

There are two laundry facilities available. One is located within the ensuite amenities block and the other is within the complex near the pool. Each has multiple washings machines, a dryer, sink and ironing facilities. All washing machines and dryers are coin-operated.

Clotheslines are located near the camp area and outside of the cabins, and each cabin is equipped with a drying rack.
